ABOUT
realtime artist / educator
Based in LA
Termrak Chaiyawat is a Thai designer, technical artist, and educator working across architecture, real-time engines, and moving image. Trained as an architect at Chulalongkorn University's INDA program and at SCI-Arc's Master of Science in Fiction and Entertainment, she builds worlds — for studios, for public installations, for the classroom, and for her own independent work — moving fluidly across the industries and disciplines those worlds belong to.
She is a Lecturer at the University of Tennessee School of Architecture, a contract concept and 3D artist at Klang Games (Berlin), an Unreal Engine Authorized Instructor with Epic Games, and co-founder of Hyperdense Studio. In 2026 she led a seven-story interactive mural game for Bangkok Design Week, projected onto the facade of the Montien Hotel, integrating Thai mural tradition with real-time systems and AI animation tools. She runs Blueprint Codex, an open visual dictionary for Unreal Engine visual scripting.
She believes technical craft should not be a barrier to who gets to build worlds. The tools will change. What stays is the discipline of adaptation — learning the next engine, the next pipeline, the next workflow, and passing that knowledge on.
